Twice is Nice
Want to make a different for people in Champaign-Urbana who must meet daily needs on meager incomes and yet want to maintain the dignity that comes from paying their own way? Gather up a few friends and join a “Sorting Party” at the Twice is Nice thrift shop!

Each month, small teams of volunteers are needed at Twice is Nice to sort and display donated clothing. No experience is needed, but your student perspective helps us make sure we are meeting the needs of the community we serve.  Work times are tailored to your team’s schedule.

Located at 607 West Elm, right on the edge of the U of I campus, Twice is Nice offers quality used clothing, housewares, bed and bath linens, books, and other items at very affordable prices.  It is managed and staffed by volunteers.  Its income supports Champaign-Urbana agencies such as the Don Moyers Boys and Girls Club, the Smile Healthy Dental Clinic, and the Randolph Street Community Gardens.
