Join the College of LAS for a fascinating evening in Chicago enjoying food, wine, ambience, and good company.
We’ll begin with a reception on River Roast’s veranda overlooking the Chicago River with magnificent views of the city. You’ll enjoy a delicious five-course dinner created by four-star and award-winning chef, Tony Mantuano. Each dish has been inspired by a famous Chicago chef and will be paired with a wine or beer.
A professor from the Department of History will inform you about interesting and famous events that occurred on the Chicago River, near River Roast’s door. You’ll meet Executive Associate Dean Brian Ross who will share the latest news about the college and current building renovations. And, to end the evening, you will enjoy a lively presentation on Chicago’s culinary history by Chef Mantuano and Executive Chef John Hogan. |
