Working on a PFA or PI Grant? We Can Help!

The Illinois Early Childhood Asset Map has created a special web page full of resources for those who are applying for Preschool for All and Prevention Initiative grants for the 2017–2018 school year.

This page includes links to much of the data needed to complete the Statement of Need for the PFA and PI grant competitions.

Of special interest are links to two Standards Reports created by IECAM specifically for the grant competitions:

The page also includes helpful links to specific data from our wide range of risk factor data, including:

  • education levels,
  • employment conditions,
  • linguistic isolation and languages spoken in Illinois,
  • child abuse and neglect,
  • poverty rates, and
  • health risk factors such as infant mortality, birth trauma, low birth weight, and prematurity.

Also included are links to the Illinois Report Card, the Illinois Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, and HUD’s 2016 Annual Homeless Assessment Report.

We hope these resources will be helpful in your grant applications. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Dawn Thomas at
