ENGAGE WITH LAS

Each year, the LAS Alumni Council selects a handful of inspiring alumni for recognition. The application process is simple and open to all. We encourage you to nominate someone you know for this honor.

The $192 million project to restore and renovate Altgeld Hall and replace its neighbor, Illini Hall, is moving forward. Sign up for regular updates and learn more about the project.

Sheldon Katz, special advisor to the dean, and Robin Whitehurst and Karla Smalley from architectural firm Bailey Edward will lead you on a unique storytelling experience about recapturing the hidden history of Altgeld Hall during its renovation. The live event is beyond capacity but we'll post a recording of it by the end of the day on Monday, April 19, on the LAS Facebook page or here.
