About the Project
During the fall 2017 semester, the Illinois School of Architecture, Department of Landscape Architecture, and Department of Urban and Regional Planning worked collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams to produce speculative visions of Chicago’s Central Manufacturing District.
A team of graduate students from UIC’s Department of Urban Planning and Policy worked alongside the Urbana-Champaign teams.
We would like to thank the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development for suggesting the site of investigation and for providing continued support along the way.
Open House Schedule
- 1:00 – Introduction
- 1:30 – 4:00 - Featured proposal presentations every half hour
- 4:30 – Refreshments
Directions: Take the elevator to floor 14, exit and go down one floor, the open house is in the Illinois School of Architecture studio space on the west side of the 13th floor.
