IEL Adds Childproofing Tool Kit

As families welcome a new baby, prepare for toddlerhood, or relocate to a new home, it is important for them to create a safe and healthy home environment for their young children. However, this can sometimes be a daunting task! Illinois Early Learning is here to help with our new Childproofing Your Home tool kit. In it, you will find general guidance, helpful checklists, videos, and additional resources.

Illinois Early Learning is widely known for its tip sheet collection. Tip sheets, our one-page handouts on topics from A (Asthma: Easing the Wheezing) to Z (ZZZs Please! Bedtime for Preschoolers) are handy and accessible, and appropriate for both families and educators. While all tip sheets are available in English, Spanish, and Polish, IEL also publishes some tip sheets in multiple other languages. We recently added several tip sheets to our multilingual collection. The following tip sheets are available in Korean, Simplified Chinese, Arabic, and French.
