Take Ten for Stress Relief Challenge starts Monday, March 5 – join now!

Want to reduce stress, have fun, and maybe even win a prize? Join the Take Ten for Stress Relief Challenge. The free, self-paced challenge starts Monday, March 5 and continues through Sunday, April 2. Participants practice simple stress relieving activities, and track their progress.

Mid-day walks resume this Thursday, March 1

They’re ba-ack! Weekly walks that is. Our mid-day walk series resumes this Thursday, March 1. These walks are designed to get you moving, increase your energy, and meet fellow colleagues!

All fitness levels are welcome.

The first three sessions will be held inside, on the Armory track.  The remaining sessions will be held outside, starting behind the Illini Union.

The program is free, but you must register.

  • Dates: Thursdays, starting March 1, ending April 26
  • Time: 12:10 pm – 12:55 pm
  • Where:
    • Weeks One – Three: Armory indoor track
    • Weeks Four – Eight: Main quad, behind Illini Union

Work-Life Balance webinar – Tuesday, March 13 at noon

Campus Wellbeing Services will conduct a Work-Life Balance webinar from noon – 1 pm on Tuesday, March 13. This program is free, but pre-registration is required. Go to to sign up.

In today’s world, employees are increasingly feeling stretched and stressed by the pull of work and home obligations. Work-Life Balance presents some ideas on how to regain a sense of equilibrium between the two.

Work-Life Balance is part of our Well at Work – on the Web! series. The series consists of five monthly web-learning sessions. You can sign up for as many, or as few, as you like. The convenient web-learning format is designed to make it easy to attend. Each session focuses on a different workplace health topic. Participants will discover practical ways to improve their wellness, and will learn about campus resources to help you on your wellness journey.

Bring wellness to your department with Wellness-to-Go

Finding it hard to get out to wellness programs during the dark and dreary winter months? Bring wellness to your department! Campus Wellbeing Services can deliver wellness sessions directly to work units through our Wellness-to-Go program.

A wide variety of topics are available. Here are just a few examples: Staying Fit in a Frantic World, Getting a Good Night’s Rest, The New Power Lunch, Stress Management (a series), Deskercise, and Easy Office Energizers.
