October 2018 Newsletter Issue |
Message from the President Michael Foellmer Fall is officially here and I hope you are taking advantage of the cooler weather! I know I’m getting excited for Halloween (mostly for the candy, obviously!) and many bonfires in the backyard.
It was great seeing so many of you on the North end of campus for our Career Connections luncheon last month at the ECE. What a fascinating and incredible place for our students and researchers here on campus! Speaking of Career Connections, I hope to see you at the Boss of the Year Celebration on October 17. This is a great opportunity to recognize our bosses and to thank them for everything they do for us!
Did you know our organization turns 70 this month!? It is so exciting to know we are a part of a legacy on this campus and I’m so pleased you are joining us for another year! We will be celebrating our special birthday in December and will have some cool new swag available soon. Read more about it below.
Lastly, don’t forget to stop by our table at the All Employee Expo on October 18 from 10 to 2. See you there!
Best,
Michael |
