A monthly PCH Resident Newsletter brought to you by the Housing Information Office
There are many flu viruses and they are constantly changing. The composition of U.S. flu vaccines is reviewed annually and updated to match circulating flu viruses. Flu vaccines protect against the three or four viruses that research suggests will be most common.
All through October, flu shots will be available at various locations across campus for benefit eligible students. Bromley Hall will be hosting a flu shot clinic in their lobby on October 16 from 4:30-7:00pm, and all university students and employees are welcome to attend. All you need is your i-card!
For the complete list of flu shot clinic locations, see the Flu Clinic Events Calendar. Don't wait until it's too late; get your flu shot today!
|Art @ the Y presents Total Mixed Ration, works by Thomas Agran|| |
On view at Murphy Gallery at the University YMCA, Monday-Friday from 9am-9pm, now through October 25, 2018. Please join us for the Artist's Reception with Thomas Agran on Thursday, October 25!
Total Mixed Ration is a collection of large, sweeping paintings that give the viewer a sense of the “hidden burdens” of landscapes in industrialized environments. The exhibition more broadly provides gallery-goers a reflection on the valuing of our environment through the politics of visual representation.
Art at the Y is a public arts initiative of the University YMCA, 1001 S. Wright, Champaign. All Art @ the Y exhibitions and events are free and open to the public! For more information, visit universityymca.org/art.
Now through October 26, University YMCA presents their Fall 2018 Friday Forum Lecture Series, Rethinking & Reframing Global Development.
In our global age, partnerships are formed across borders and oceans to help address disease, societal injustices, and critical challenges facing communities near and far. Join the YMCA as they take a look at the processes involved in international partnerships and the goals and outcomes of projects happening now all across the world.
For more information, visit universityymca.org/friday-forum. All Friday Forum lectures are free and open to all!
