CCIL Annual Meeting 
The CCIL is hosting its annual meeting November 9th, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at 3002 ECE Building. This is a great opportunity to hear about the interesting things taking place within the center, including center updates, collaborative opportunities, faculty research highlights, and resources that are available to researchers. Department of Biochemistry Seminar
The Department of Biochemistry is hosting Andrew Stephen, Project Lead RAS Biochemistry and Biophysics from Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research, on Friday, November 9 (12:00 p.m.), as a part of its seminar series. The event will be at Charles G. Miller Auditorium B102 CLSL and will focus on RAS signaling in human cancer. Find more here.

Registration is open for the second annual Human Subjects Research Conference, sponsored by the Office for the Protection of Research Subjects. The event on Friday, November 9, will explore the IRB process in depth and facilitate discussions between researchers, administrators, and community partners. School of Chemical Sciences Seminars


Research Study for Breast Cancer Survivors 
Breast cancer survivors 18 years and older are needed for a three-session (90-min each) study over one week. Total time is about 5 hours. Participants will be asked to complete one of three randomly assigned interventions. All participants will receive guided exercise or relaxation training. $50 compensation will be provided for completion of all study requirements. Contact or call 217-300-7484 for more information.


Research Study for Cancer Survivors
Researchers at Illinois are seeking cancer survivors to participate in a free, 12-week exercise study involving strength training, aerobic walking, or yoga. Assessments include cardiovascular and fitness testing, brain games, questionnaires, and wearing an activity monitor. Find out more.
