Digital prints and writings by Leda Black celebrating the powers of courageous and defiant women will be on display in the Murphy Gallery from 9am-9pm, Monday through Friday. Additionally, you can join them for the Artist's Reception on November 1 from 5-7pm!

November is a great month to reflect on all the ways in which you are grateful in life (hello, Thanksgiving!), but it can also be a difficult month for students, as academic pressure starts to mount and time management frustrations begin to kick in, potentially resulting in the deterioration of mental and physical health.

This November, indulge in some self-care by participating in events offered by the Counseling Center and McKinley Health Center.

Event 1: Mental Health Benefits of Gratitude Workshop

When: Tuesday, 11/13, 7:00pm

Where: Noyes Lab 165

Topics to be Covered: Mental health, self-care, and wellness

Event 2: Mindful Monday

When: Monday, 11/26, 7-8:00pm

Where: Undergrad library, second floor, group room 10

What: The McKinley Stress Management Peers will lead you through a relaxation technique. Each session will last 15 minutes and may include deep breathing, guided imagery, and/or progressive muscle relaxation.

Did you know there are two National Donut Days each year?! If you missed the first one in June, you're in luck, because November 5th is the second! Kick it old school and keep it simple with donuts from Carmella's Creme or get creative with new(er) kids on the block Pandamonium. Or go for broke and visit both!
