Toddlers Explore Their Worlds With Drumming, a Sister’s Shoes

Our two newest parenting videos show two young children as they start exploring the world around them. In Drumming in the Kitchen, a young girl discovers the sounds she can make when she is banging pots with a large spoon. In Solving the Shoe Puzzle, a young boy develops his fine motor and concept development skills as he tries to put on his big sister’s shoes.

Check Out Our Questions and Answers (Q&A)

IEL has prepared a series of questions (and their answers) on early learning topics. Some popular topics include Academic Redshirting and Starting a Child Care Center in Illinois. Let us know if you would like us to create a Q&A on an early learning topic of special interest to you or the families you serve.

Find Resources Aligned to the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines (IELGs)

IEL has identified evidence-based resources related to the early learning guidelines. These resources include items on the IEL Project website and other web-based sites. The resources can be used to assist preservice and in-service childcare providers and home visitors working with infants and toddlers. Use our online database to search for resources related to either domains or subdomains of the guidelines.

Help Us Serve You Better
