Toddlers Explore Their Worlds With Drumming, a Sister’s Shoes
Our two newest parenting videos show two young children as they start exploring the world around them. In Drumming in the Kitchen, a young girl discovers the sounds she can make when she is banging pots with a large spoon. In Solving the Shoe Puzzle, a young boy develops his fine motor and concept development skills as he tries to put on his big sister’s shoes.

Find Resources Aligned to the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines (IELGs)
IEL has identified evidence-based resources related to the early learning guidelines. These resources include items on the IEL Project website and other web-based sites. The resources can be used to assist preservice and in-service childcare providers and home visitors working with infants and toddlers. Use our online database to search for resources related to either domains or subdomains of the guidelines.
The IEL Project wants to hear from you to learn how we can best serve you through our Web-based resources. Please complete our online survey and let us know how we can support you in your role as a parent, caregiver, or teacher of young children.
