TED Quarterly Release - Next Release August 17
REMINDER: The next major release for TED will be August 17th. Check out the July edition of the Advancement Insider for the list of changes that will be scheduled for that release.
UIF Online | A new and improved solution designed with you in mind
A working group at UIF has been hard at work revamping UIF Online. Designed and developed to improve communications and create a more robust one-stop-shop for UIDP resources, the new and improved UIF Online site will launch in late June/early July. The re-tooled site will contain a broad spectrum of items including news, announcements, gift planning resources, gift forms, policies and procedures, calendars, social media feeds, HR information, and much more. It also includes links to important tools such as TED, iLearn, and others that are critical to your daily work.
This “reboot” of UIF Online will be accessible from its current web address (https://online.uif.uillinois.edu). For your convenience, a link to UIF Online will also be added to the footer of the UIF homepage.
The site will be updated regularly so please visit often to stay current on the latest advancement resources. We look forward to growing this site over time, and with our UIDP community in mind. If you have any questions please contact Sue Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is the status of my UIF Request?
Coming this July the UIF IT Operations will be replacing the UIF Services Portal with the UIF Support online ticketing system that will provide you the customer a new way of submitting new tickets as well as accessing your previously closed and currently open tickets. You will still be able to interact with your submitted ticket through email correspondence, but you will also be able to interact with the agent that is working on your ticket within the online ticketing system and get a status update on your request.
Forms that you have used previously used within TED - UIF Help to request assistance will eventually be replaced by the new online ticketing system. Stay tuned for updates within TED in the News & Updates forum as there will be a short tutorial and documentation coming out on how to interact within the new tool. Any questions regqrding this please contact email@example.com.
Process to Update Marital Status
Ever noticed that even when spouses are linked together in TED that their marital status is not always correct. This is due to TED not having an out of the box solution to update the marital status automatically. Starting Wednesday June 26th, UIF AIMS will be submit a a daily process that will cleanup marital status where appropriate.
CVENT Registration Data Flow to TED
COMING SOON! UIF AIMS and Events will be completing testing on a Cvent to TED registration/cancellation data solution later this month. A daily pull of the registration and cancellations will begin sometime in July or August. This will allow event staffs to no longer have to update registration information on to the TED Event. Stay Tuned for more communication about the launch of this new data solution!
