From the AITS Time Capsule: 1986
In September/October of 1985, The Integrated Circuit newsletter was created to serve the administrative computing community of the University of Illinois. The publication condensed existing newsletters The Message Queue (Urbana) and Computing Issues (Chicago) to provide a unified newsource for administrative computer offices across the entire University. Individuals were encouraged to submit ideas and articles using a 5 1/4" floppy disk. In January 1986, AISS (now AITS) announced it would support 3 products with file transfer capabilities to meet requests of customers.
