Get your hands dirty, and experience harvesting, processing, and human-centered design at work. ILEE Applications are Open
Application for the Innovation, Leadership, and Engineering Entrepreneurship (ILEE) dual degree program is open. The BS degree in ILEE is for engineering students to better understand the innovative processes involved in identifying complex technical problems and creating, developing, and leading efforts to provide engineering solutions. At this time, ILEE is only available as a dual degree for COE students, but individual courses and certificates are available to students from any college. This program welcomes new students to start their ECE careers the right way. Faculty will give brief overviews of the research areas in ECE, and current students will share tips. TEC Hiring Illinois Startup List Intern
The Technology Entrepreneur Center (TEC) provides students and faculty with the skills, resources, and experiences necessary to become successful innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders. TEC is hiring an intern for Fall/Spring 2019-20 to gather and compile information, and input content for a crowdsourced list of Illinois startups. The intern will work for up to 10 hrs/week on this project. This is a paid internship and pay rate is commensurate with experience. Starting date is to be determined, but most likely will start in early October. You must be a current undergraduate student in order to be considered for this position. AGCO Acceleration Center Hiring Design Engineer Intern
The AGCO Acceleration Center, an agricultural manufacturer, is looking for an intern to get involved with the engineering teams to evaluate and optimize designs of existing equipment to address customer needs and reduce cost, work on project teams to create new designs, and develop and review of current methods and standards. This is a paid, part-time internship for Fall 2019 at the AGCO Acceleration Center in the Research Park. Students are required to work 10-20 hours a week on-site.
