Women and Gender in Global Perpsectives Program with Playful by Design: Illinois Interdisciplinary Game Studies (PbD) and the Siebel Center for Design (SCD) will host a two year project on Migration and Game Design.  For future information on the project, please visit here.

Introducing RISE: A new USAID challenge on the intersection
of gender-based violence and the environment.

USAID’s Office of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (GenDev) is hosting the RISE Challenge to seek the innovative application of promising or proven interventions that prevent and respond to gender-based violence across programs that address the access, use, control, and management of natural resources.

Competition deadline is October 8th.  Full details available on application platform.

WGGP Gender Relations in International

Development Graduate Minor

WGGP offers a graduate minor in Gender Relations in International Development (GRID). The GRID interdisciplinary minor is designed to give students the analytical and empirical skills needed to address and critically evaluate human development issues in research and policy analysis, as well as in daily life. As of 2019, GRID Alumni have come from 35 departments across campus and 50 different countries.
