An inside update on services provided by the University of Illinois Foundation
TED Forms - Now in UIF Support
The forms you are used to seeing on the UIF Help tab in TED to request things like Ad-Hoc lists, and updates to Committees, Events, Mail Preferences, and Solicit Codes have been removed and UIF Support is now the only way to submit requests.
Learning and Development has produced a great instructional video to show you how to use the new tool. Check it out today by clicking here! For best results, login to iLearn first.
Please note: Any requests that you would have normally submitted from the TED UIF Help tab can be found in UIF Support by first selecting Data Services for the Category.
Contact AIMS if you have any questions.
Hyland OnBase has Gone to Single Sign On
Hyland OnBase has been switched to Single Sign On, so you will now be taken to your University specific sign in page to login. If you have multi-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, you will be able to take advantage of that added security measure.
UIUC Users will see this:
UIF Internal CVENT Support
NEW! The University of Illinois Foundation will be officially centralizing CVENT. The Board and Donor Relations team will take on the event registration page creation.
In lieu of end-users creating the registration process and CVENT website for your event, you will instead fill out a request form and the event will be created for you. Specifically, the link will live in the TED events module and, once completed, the event will be created within five to seven business days. You will no longer have to access CVENT, but will instead have the reports delivered straight to your inbox with full event registration details. New CVENT seats will no longer be administered, and will instead use this process. All current users also have access to this process.
This process will go into effect September 24, 2019
How it will work:
- You will submit an event registration page request using the link on the sidebar of the Events Module in TED.
- The Foundation will create the event to your specifications within 5-7 business days.
- You will receive a test link that will allow you to review the event exactly as the registrants will see it.
- The Foundation will also schedule CVENT Event reports to be delivered to you or your team on a scheduled timeline (daily, weekly, Every Wednesday at 8:27am, etc.)
- The event will be launched and you can use the provided weblink to embed in any communications.
We look forward to being a valuable partner for all of your future events!

Graduate and Student Loads
2019 Summer Graduate data has been loaded into TED.
Watch TED this week for the 2019 Fall Student data to be loaded.
Take a look at the TED Calendar for all future load dates!
Monthly Faculty Staff Data
September Faculty Staff data has been loaded into the University Appointments area under the Relationships tab in TED. Monthly Faculty Staff data is pulled from Banner on the 10th and loaded into TED on the 3rd weekend of each month.
CVENT Registration Data Flow to TED
A bridge has been built connecting the TED Events Module and CVENT. This will allow all registrants who register in CVENT to be batch loaded into the matching TED event on a daily basis. This bridge will function for single level free TED Events. Multi-Level events and events with fees will still need to have all registrants manually entered into TED by your team.
To ensure the best results, the following checks are suggested for all TED Events:
- Ensure Registration Options are enabled in your TED event
- When submitting an event registration page request, ensure the entire TED event ID is entered correctly
- Keep in mind, only single level free events will apply for this TED-CVENT Bridge
This process will go into effect starting on October 14th, 2019 and will run every weekday to pull in registration and cancellation data from that date forward for active events in Cvent.
