Attend Feminist Friday At GWS House

Gender and Women's Studies House
Please join us for Feminist Friday at the GWS house. Feminist Friday features former GWS majors and minors who return to campus to talk about how they came into their current jobs and the ways in which they work toward progressive political action and social justice. On Friday, October 25, Sarah Alo (Journalism major/GWS minor) will discuss her web series, MENACE, a dystopian comedy about three roommates struggling to get along during a dangerous rollback of women’s rights. Sarah will screen some of the episodes and answer questions about her work writing, directing, and acting in the series. The event is open to all, free lunch included!
Attend Integrity i-Program with Illinois Leadership Center
This program allows students to examine their personal values and the intersections between morals, ethics, and integrity. Students are taught to differentiate an ethical dilemma from a moral temptation and are presented with tools for ethical decision making. Learn more about the program here.

Freshmen who have demonstrated an aptitude for and a skill in writing poetry are encouraged to apply for the Kevin T. Early Memorial Scholarship. To apply, students must submit five poems that do not exceed five total pages. Please include the name, address, phone number, email, and UIN on a title page separate from the poem entry.
