Illinois Innovation Prize Nominations Due Jan. 27
How have you made an impact? Are you solving problems through design? Are you innovating around health, sustainability, or agriculture? Whatever the area or method of innovation, if you’re working towards innovative solutions, ask a mentor to nominate you for the $20,000 CAMPUS-WIDE Illinois Innovation Prize. You must be nominated by a faculty member, mentor or advisor. Students may not nominate other students. You must be on-campus during the 2019-20 academic year at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Nominations are due Jan. 27, 2020. Learn more and apply.
AWARE Proof Of Concept Funding Application
The AWARE (Accelerating Women And underRepresented Entrepreneurs) program is seeking to aid women and underrepresented entrepreneurs through a proof-of-concept award. The AWARE program is administered by the EnterpriseWorks incubator at the University of Illinois Research Park and is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Dual Engineering Degree
The BS degree in ILEE is for engineering students to better understand the innovative processes involved in identifying complex technical problems and creating, developing, and leading efforts to provide engineering solutions. At this time, ILEE is only available as a dual degree for Grainger Engineering students, but individual courses and certificates are available to students from any college. Enterprise Works Hiring Video Intern
Do you enjoy telling stories through video and pictures? Do you get excited about being able to creatively document an event and show your work off to others? The Video Intern will demonstrate their multimedia capabilities along with their teamwork and project management skills by working on meaningful, high-impact projects. This position will begin training at the beginning of Fall 2019 and will continue on throughout the semester. Upon a successful performance review, the internship will continue into Spring 2020.
