The computations of modern hardware are so complex that it requires multiple processors to parallelize the task that is being performed. According to an article from Built In, Nvidia approached CSL Professor Wen-mei Hwu to help extend their designs with GPUs into general parallel computing applications. Read more
National Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Month
This past month, CSL joined with the Critical Infrastructure Resilience Institute (CIRI) and the Information Trust Institute (ITI) to celebrate National Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Month. CIRI celebrated the month by focusing on our work to improve mobile security; supply chain; humanitarian assistance and disaster relief; and the critical infrastructure dependencies of the country.
