Weekly Workshop: Blackboard Spring Cleaning
. We’re a week into the new semester now—how are your Blackboard courses looking? Creating and organizing necessary digital materials, gradebooks, content folders, tests and quizzes, film files, and other elements of your Blackboard course can feel like an overwhelming and convoluted process (especially if you haven’t used Blackboard before) and even an experienced user may encounter glitches or unexpected issues during the inital setup process that require resolution. Furthermore, you may be interested in exploring unfamiliar but potentially useful features like discussion boards, wikis, or Panopto video embeds. Finally, you may simply find that everything you need is present but the resulting structure is difficult for users to navigate. If this is the case, stop by and together we can get everything in order early! LCLC can help you organize the contents of your course, get all the basic elements functioning properly, and incorporate one of the site's numerous built-in teaching tools to make Blackboard easy and effective for you and your students!

Can't make the scheduled workshop times? Email us to set up a meeting at the LCLC or in your office: lclc@uic.edu
