Dream Your Way to a Better Life—Sessions Start February
 

Dare to Dream is one of our more innovative offerings. This program helps people get in touch with their life desires and explore ways to make these dreams come true. The focus is on intentional dreaming, goal setting, and strategic action. Led by experienced Extension educator Tiffany Macke, the program is fun and interactive.

Dare to Dream will meet 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. for six Tuesdays starting February 4. To register for this free program, go to https://go.illinois.edu/CWSPrograms

 
Get Fiscally Fit This Year—Sign Up for Prudential Pathways
 

When you think of wellness, do your finances come to mind? If not, perhaps you should consider how finances impact other areas of your life. For instance, financial worries contribute significantly to stress: fifty-two percent of employees are stressed about finances.1 To remedy this, Campus Wellbeing Services offers a free four-week financial wellness course. Prudential Pathways classes boost confidence and skill. Participants learn to:

  • Manage day-to-day finances by creating a budget and lowering debt
  • Achieve financial goals, such as saving for retirement
  • Protect against financial risks such as illness or injury

Lose Weight the Healthy Weigh
 

Looking to lose weight? Start 2020 the Healthy Weigh! Our campus’ own weight management program provides the tools needed to lose weight safely and effectively. Our next eight-week program begins Wednesday, February 26. Read on to learn more about this unique program. 

 
2020 Wellness Webinars
 

Would you like to attend wellness programs, but find it hard to make time? Never fear—our wellness webinars are here! This semester we will offer four monthly sessions February through May. All are on the second Tuesday of the month at noon. Topics are as follows: Secrets of Healthy Habit Success, Get the Facts on Nutrition, More than a Gut Feeling: The Importance of Dietary Fiber, and The Most Important Things You Need to Know about Stress Management. Get Exercise and Help Others—Be a Snow Angel
 

Looking to contribute to your community and get fit? Become a snow angel!  Our local Safe Routes to School Project is looking for helpers to clear sidewalks in Champaign and Urbana. Snowstorms can leave some, including children, older adults, and disabled people, stranded. Volunteers clear walks that residents are unable to clear by themselves. New Recipes for a New Year
