Don Wuebbles is leading a special assessment of potential impacts of climate change on Illinois for The Nature Conservancy. Co-chair with Jim Angel.

Don Wuebbles was invited to give special seminar for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in May on climate change and the transportation sector.

Don Wuebbles is helping the Metropolitan Mayor's Caucus with greenhouse targeting analyses.

Don Wuebbles is working with other UIUC colleagues to help with the AXIS, Brookings/AIR initiative on insurance and climate impacts for agriculture and coastlines. Coordinated through the UIUC College of Business.

Don Wuebbles led a review of the Department of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences at Iowa State University, March 2020.

Jeff Trapp taught a short course (virtual) for the European Severe Storms Laboratory, in Wiener Neustadt, Austria: “Dynamics and Prediction of Severe Convection”, March 2020.

Steve Nesbitt will co-chair the following symposium at the AMS Annual Meeting in 2021: "Mesoscale Processes across Scales: Engaging with Communities in the Physical and Social Sciences"
