Sent on behalf of Prof. Dan Morrow, Chair of the COE Return to On-Site Transition Committee:
Dear Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students:
We hope you are staying healthy and safe. This email is intended to clarify and reiterate a few of the main ideas from last Friday's Return to On-site Work: Specific College of Education Guidance email:
We recommend faculty, staff, and graduate students not return to work at the College until July 12 at the earliest.
If there is a need to return to the College before July 12, contact your department head/chair or unit head for guidance. Research labs and others responsible for space will be required to complete a safety plan.
Prior to returning to work at the College, everyone is required to complete the Division of Research Safety COVID-19 Safety training, which takes about 15 minutes.
- College facilities/buildings include the Education Building, Children's Research Center (CRC) building, and the Green Street (MSTE) space.
When in College of Education buildings, remember it is required that you wear a mask and follow signs to maintain social distancing. We understand that not everyone can medically tolerate a mask or has access to a mask. While we will not be regulating or tracking mask use, we ask that everyone works together to ensure the safety of our community.
The College has received suggestions from many people about preparing their individual work spaces for returning to on-site work. Please email email@example.com with any questions, concerns, or comments about accommodations or safety.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org should any equipment or technology needs arise, or your direct supervisor with any return to on-site questions.
Thank you for your continued patience as our subcommittees work on recommendations around many critical considerations for returning to non-remote work. Again, we will continue to keep you updated with more specifics throughout the month of June.
