Guidance for Winter Break Testing
Starting Dec. 19, all undergraduate students residing in the local community should move from an every other day testing schedule to a twice-weekly testing schedule for the remainder of Winter Break. Also starting Dec. 19, there will be changes to testing locations and hours. Be sure to check the testing location page or your Safer Illinois app before testing at your usual location. Submit Your Positive Off-Campus Results
Undergraduate and graduate students who test positive for COVID-19 at an off-campus location over Winter Break should submit their positive off-campus COVID-19 test result through the MyMcKinley Portal. All questions about testing or test results should be directed to the COVID Wellness Answer Center at email@example.com or 217-333-1900.

Spring 2021 NCSA and SPIN InternshipsThe National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) has lots of internship opportunities for 2021! Internships are paid, and international students are eligible to apply. To learn more about the individual intern programs and general information, visit the SPIN website.
The Boren Scholarship
Application Deadline: January 19, 2021
The Boren scholarship provides undergraduate study abroad scholarships up to $25,000 for a full academic year or up to $12,500 for a semester. These are merit-based scholarships, and approximately one in five eligible applicants receive awards. In order to receive the scholarship, award winners must enter into a service agreement requiring that they attempt to work in a paid position for the federal government in an area related to national security. Golden Apple Scholarships
This teacher preparation program provides their scholars up to $23,000 in tuition assistance and mentoring that supports the development and success of new, highly-effective teachers for Illinois schools-of-need. Illinois needs passionate resilient young educators like you! High school seniors and first and second-year Illinois college students are eligible to apply.
