Hello ACES Community,

We need to take precautions to prevent Zoom disruptions emerging across the country. To mitigate this new IT risk, meeting organizers need to password protect Zoom meetings. Please modify existing Zoom invitations to require a password and share the new invitation link and password with attendees.

Use this process to manually modify security settings. Only the meeting organizer can change existing invitations.

Effective Tuesday, March 31, all new Zoom meetings will require a password by default. These meetings will also have new invitation links with the password embedded which make joining the meeting online seamless. Meeting organizers and course instructors will need to share these new links and passwords with attendees before Zoom events.
