Dear Colleagues:

I am pleased to announce the recipients of the 2014 University Scholar Award. The fourteen faculty members from among the three campuses of the University of Illinois, were nominated and selected by their peers, and as University Scholars they are recognized for exceptional achievements across the many fields of research fundamental to the University. The award acknowledges the excellence of their accomplishments while symbolizing the University’s commitment to fostering outstanding faculty.

Each scholar will receive a total of $45,000 over three years to be used to advance his or her scholarship.
