Dr. Grant is the founding director of the Center for Fetal-Neonatal Neuroimaging & Developmental Science at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH), the first incumbent of the Children’s Hospital Boston Chair in Neonatology, an Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and a member of both the Department of Medicine (Division of Newborn Medicine) and the Department of Radiology (Division of Neuroradiology) at CHB as well as a member of the Advanced Fetal Care Center. Dr. Grant is a practicing Pediatric Neuroradiologist with over 10 years experience and prior to her current position was the Division Chief of Pediatric Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. In this talk Dr. Grant will give an overview of the research occurring in her center in MRI, optical imaging, MEG and imaging informatics. Highlights include installation of the first 3T NICU MRI in collaboration with GE, deployment of novel Diffuse Correlation Spectroscopy in conjunction with Frequency Domain NIRS, development of the first whole head high resolution MEG system for young children, and novel web based imaging informatics core to analyze and share processed imaging data.
