What Do You Know About DAP?

Have you heard the acronym DAP? It stands for developmentally appropriate practice. DAP has been around for quite some time, was recently updated, and is used to guide educators in planning learning experiences that meet the needs of young children and their families. Parents of soon-to-be kindergartners may have lots of questions about the transition to elementary school. Illinois Early Learning has you covered with several great kindergarten-related resources. MFLN Webinar Series Focuses on Positive Behavior

 
 
 
 

Last year, the Miltary Families Learning Network’s early intervention team produced a four-part webinar series focused on promoting positive behavior in young children. This webinar series covers the ABCs and the function of behavior, multitiered systems of support (MTSS), environmental arrangement, working with families, and promoting friendship and belonging.
