March 2021 Greetings to Friends of FSHN!

I hope this finds you all doing well! We are excited to report that FSHN is continuing to provide a mix of online and in person instruction to make sure that students will have access to our great courses, regardless of whether or not they are on campus this term. Campus continues to adhere to strict testing and contact tracing, providing an environment that is as safe as possible for all. This makes it also possible for research to continue; it is refreshing to see how productive our Department has been, despite the pandemic. Below you will see some examples of research that has recently been published and some reports of progress in different areas in the news as well as some grant updates. It is difficult to send updates on all; there are so many things to be proud of in FSHN! I would like to encourage all of our alumni to send us any updates they would like to share.

Thank you for your support of FSHN.
Best regards,
Nicki Engeseth
