Dear Gies Alumni,

You know Gies Business as an innovation incubator. Our online programs have enabled us to share the expertise of our faculty across the globe, and with the spread of COVID-19 there is no better time for us to put those capabilities into action. Our faculty experts have developed a series of three webinars that we are sharing broadly with the business community to help them navigate these uncertain business and social times.

We are also sharing our distinctive expertise with the larger education community. Professors Larry DeBrock, Norma Scagnoli, and Fataneh Taghaboni-Dutta have written an article, “The Human Element in Online Learning,” that appeared in Inside Higher Ed. We are recognized leaders in this space, and our faculty are uniquely qualified to share their experience and provide advice to others around the country who find themselves in less-familiar teaching environments.

We hope you find the article and upcoming webinars informative, empowering, and useful as we all weather this pandemic. Please feel free to share this information with any friends or colleagues you feel would benefit from these webinars.
