The Update is a student newsletter for undergraduate
majors and minors in the College of Education at Illinois.
|Hannah Bohn (back) and sister|| |
Hannah, a junior elementary education major, is spending the summer in Granada, Spain. She's taking courses to finish her Spanish endorsement (to complement the ESL endorsement she's also working toward) while spending time with her host family and traveling around Europe, of course! Hannah, who originally did not want to follow in her mother's footsteps by becoming an Education at Illinois graduate, now loves the College of Education and looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm with her sister, who will be a freshman in the College this fall. Hannah's longer-term goal of becoming an administrator (possible with a master's degree) was confirmed when she "partnered with [her] high school's administration" on projects such as college information nights, new-student orientations, and award ceremonies. Hannah reminds Education majors and minors to dress and act professionally within local educational settings. "It's never too early to impress a potential employer," she said.
